100 μs Microwave Optical Delay Line using Directly Moiulated Lasers

Using a 20 kilometer long optical link with direct modulation of BH and DEB laser, we demonstrated the lowest insertion losses - of the order of 48 dB ever reported at microwave frequencies up to C band.
