Application of biological dressings combined with photochemical tissue bonding in tissue repair

Photochemical tissue bonding as a new sutureless tissue bonding technique has been applied to repair of the skin, nerves, blood vessels, tendons and other important tissue injuries. Combined collagen dressings with PTB has been applied to repair tissue injuries to achieve more satisfactory results. In this paper, the authors review biological characteristics of four kinds of biological dressings common in clinical, and combination of PTB applied in tissue repair in order to reduce postoperative inflammatory reaction, reduce the scar formation.
