Mögliche Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf die Ausbreitung der Malaria Tropica - Ergebnisse einer strategischen Simulation

The Earth's surface is presently undergoing a period of global warming-up, which increases the likelihood of a spread of malaria tropica. A reliable prognosis would be important for efficient prevention by initiating appropriate counter-measures well in time. The following paper presents simulations of the effects of climatic changes on the spread of malaria. We do not specifically aim at obtaining concrete data for a particular region; rather, we are concerned with gaining an insight into the complex interrelations between global environment changes and the spread of malaria.
