LTE architecture-based control method and system for implementing inter-frequency and inter-system measurement

The invention discloses a long-term evolution (LTE) architecture-based control method and an LTE architecture-based control system for implementing inter-frequency and inter-system measurement. The method comprises the following steps that: eNB transmits measurement starting configuration information to user equipment (UE); and the eNB receives a measurement starting event triggered by the UE on the basis of the measurement starting configuration information and transmits an inter-frequency measurement starting command and/or an inter-system measurement starting command and corresponding measurement stopping configuration information to the UE. Through the provided technical scheme, the UE flexibly controls the inner-frequency measurement and/or inter-system measurement, the functional control of the UE by the eNB and the data interaction between the eNB and the UE are guaranteed, and the battery overhead of the UE is effectively reduced.
