ABO,Rh blood group genotype and antigen change after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation

2004
Objective To explore the significance of ABO,Rh blood group conversion after allogeneic peripheral hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(Allo-PBSCT) in the treatment of hematological diseases. Methods The two patients were transplanted with ABO,Rh-incompatible peripheral hematopoietic stem cell. The ABO,Rh genotype and phenotype were detected before and after Allo-PBSCT.Results The mixed field was detected in peripheral blood from +7 d and +15 d, respectively. The A,Rh(c) genotypes of donors were observed on 2 patients from +7 d and +10 d.Conclusion Observing the ABO,Rh blood group genotype and phenotype conversion could be used to evaluate the graft quality after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. And it is a direct and rapid method.
