Modular access to formamide-tethered α-halo ynones via the deconstructive oxo-halogenation of readily available α-alkynyl eneformamides
2020
Abstract Herein, we describe a chemoselective, regioselective, modular, and efficient deconstructive oxo-halogenation strategy, which skeletally remodels readily available cyclic α-alkynyl eneformamides into formamide-tethered α-halo ynones. This scaffold-hopping transformation furnishes diverse architectures that would be challenging to achieve through traditional disconnections.
