Simulation of the interaction of detonation waves in hydrogen-air mixtures with inert filters and clouds of particles

In the paper physical and mathematical models for the propagation, attenuation and suppression of detonation in hydrogen-air mixtures with inert filters and clouds of inert particles, based on the reduced and detailed kinetics of chemical reactions, were proposed. On their basis, the simulations of the interaction of detonation waves with inert filters and clouds of inert particles were carried out. The dependences of the detonation velocity deficit on the particle concentration and the concentration limits of detonation were calculated.
