Cranial Prostheses for Pan-Cortical Neural Interfacing

We are engineering neurotechnologies for large-scale cellular resolution activity mapping of the mammalian cortex. We have developed ‘brain windows’ — 3D-printed transparent cranial prostheses for chronic, optical access to the whole cortex. Using compatible imaging methodologies, we have demonstrated the pan-cortical activity map at multiple spatial scales — cellular to the mesoscale.Copyright © 2018 by ASME
