Centro Atlético de las Américas

The degree project proposes the design of a sports center with an emphasis on athletics, which seeks to increase the professionalization of Colombian sport and raise the level of competition of the athletes. The center is located on the Americas Avenue at the intersection with the railroad, as a result of an extensive urban analysis that determines in which areas of the city with sports equipment deficit and have the possibility of having a good connection with the sports equipment already existing. The athletic center consists of an indoor athletic track, Olympic swimming pools and a sports laboratory.
