Photocatalytic activity and optical properties of Cd2SnO4 nanospheres

Abstract Cd 2 SnO 4 nanospheres were synthesized via hydrothermal method. The prepared material was characterized by X-Ray diffraction, Raman studies, the optical properties carried out by diffuse reflectance–UV/visible spectroscopy and sphere like morphology structure was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy with Energy dispersive X-Ray analyzer (EDX). The cubic crystal system was presented to the obtained material with index. These synthesized nano-spheres have very good performance of organic dyes degradation under the visible light irradiation.
