In the traditional educational environments, students with different goals and knowledge are provided with the same static learning material. The Adaptive Hypermedia makes these environments able to adapt themselves to the needs of each student, increasing learning speed and quality. However, the de- velopment of educational environments is a complex and slow task, because this kind of system is generally built from the scratch. This paper proposes the cre- ation of ontologies that formally represent Adaptive Hypermedia Educational Systems. 1. Introduc ¸ ˜ ao Ambientes educacionais geralmente possuem um grande numero de usuarios, e cada um deles tem seus proprios objetivos, interesses e estilo de aprendizado. Porem, mesmo diante de tamanha diversidade, os tradicionais ambientes proveem a todos os estudantes os mesmos materiais de ensino estaticos.
