Melting Point Change of Al-13.3%Cu Alloy Under Stationary Magnetic Field

The resistance-temperature curve of Al-13.3%Cu alloy solidified under a stationary magnetic field was measured through a way of double electric bridges,the liquidus and solidus temperature of the alloy under the stationary magnetic field were determined by the analysis of the curve when the intensity of the magnetic field was 0.06 T and (0.12) T.It is found that the stationary magnetic field can affect the melting point of Al-13.3%Cu alloy,the liquidus temperature and solidus temperature of alloy decrease and the crystal interval become big,moreover,the variety is more evident when the magnetic field is 0.12 T.
