Thermally stimulated currents and dielectric relaxation study of vegetal polymers

2008
The wood tissue is in fact the walls of the vegetal cells. It is basically made of three polymers: cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. In this work we define the structure/properties relationships via molecular approach and by applying the dielectric methods. We study the dielectric properties of poplar wood and its extracted components and determine each element influence on assembly response. Static (thermally stimulated current) and dynamical (dynamic dielectric spectroscopy) dielectric techniques are used.
