This section presents illustrations of Johann Jacob Brucker that occur in this book titled The Historiographical Concept 'System of Philosophy': its origin, nature, influence and legitimacy. The term ?historiography? can take up a variety of meanings. In the following, the term is understood as the history and method of a given historical discipline, in this case the history of philosophy.
