Ageing society as an interdisciplinary issue, part 2

The outcome of longevity are difficult psychological, social, and medical problems that result from the transformations of the social structures. Some countries, Poland among them, are not prepared for it. The last several dozen years witnessed the growing percentage of elderly people, which is unprecedented in the history of civilisation. This makes us approach the matter of ageing society in an interdisciplinary manner.
