Innovation is characterized as the development and implementation of new products, processes or technologies, being a factor of great importance for organizational competitiveness. Through innovation, the economy maintains its structure in operation, according to the classic Schumpeterian view. Neoschumpeterians expand the conceptualization of innovation, considering it as a process of searching for the development of forms of learning and advances promoted by the interaction between science and technology, above all, by the cooperative relations between agents such as companies, government, research institutions and Universities. The university fits into this context as an important link, so, a reflection of his contribution and how has been its performance in Brazil proves to be an important source of research. Therefore, the present study aims to investigate how the Brazilian university has been addressed in the publications of Brazilian Journal of Innovation. Through systematic review, the results point in three research approaches: University-Industry interaction; University-Industry interaction networks; Patents at the University Scop and; Another Contributions.
