New Technology of Making NdFeB by Sintering

Sintered NdFeB as the third generation of rare earth permanent magnet materials, since the last century 80's development, production applications, with its high electromagnetic performance, high cost performance has been rapid development. But the sintered NdFeB metal elements can easily be oxidized, so that the electromagnetic performance and further promote the development of aff ected. Therefore, the study of new manufacturing technology, new technology is necessary. At present, the traditional technology of sintering NdFeB is discussed, and the process technology of powder preparation, hydroforming and vacuum sintering is discussed. The article focuses on the milling and forming process, the traditional ball mill to hydrogen explosion, air grinding powder; the traditional dry magnetic fi eld molding to wet pressure magnetic fi eld oriented molding. So far the domestic use of dry magnetic fi eld molding. Internationally, has begun to study the wet pressure fi eld orientation molding, to prevent the production process of oxidation, thereby enhancing the electromagnetic properties and its anti-corrosion antioxidant capacity. Sintered NdFeB new technology, the new process through the manufacturing process technology to control of oxygen content and to control the occurrence of phase change. As a result of the new technology, the new technology in the oxygen content has been eff ectively controlled, so that the sintered NdFeB electromagnetic properties obtained a qualitative leap.
