The present invention relates to the field of road works, and in particular relates to a road material flexural tensile performance test method. The road material flexural tensile performance test method includes the following steps: 1) selecting a fixed linear segment as a measuring line segment from the side of a molded to-be-tested beam specimen, and using a video collection device to monitor the measuring line segment; 2) applying a load to the beam specimen, and using the video collection device to shoot changes of the measuring line segment; 3) receiving a change diagram, collected by the video collection device, of the measuring line segment by an image recognition measurement system, calculating the length of the measuring line segment during load applying process on the image recognition measurement system, and calculating the material flexural-tensile strain according to the change of the length of the measuring line segment after application of the load compared with the measuring line segment before application of the load. The road material flexural tensile performance test method not only can achieve the road material flexural tensile performance high frequency measurement, and also has good measurement accuracy and highly industrial utilization value.
