Method for uniformly configuring wireless access points and access controller

Disclosed are a method for uniformly configuring wireless access points (APs), comprising: an access controller (AC) storing an AP grouping configuration list; and after determining the receipt of a joining request sent by an AP, the AC searching for a matching AP grouping configuration list according to the joining request of the AP, obtaining a business configuration parameter from the matching AP grouping configuration list, and sending the business configuration parameter to the AP. Also disclosed at the same time is an AC. The present invention can improve the working efficiency of an AC in a thin AP architecture, and reduce bandwidth occupied in the process where the AC sends a configuration parameter.
