Taming More Than Lions

This article presents a case study of the Calgary Zoo in Alberta, Canada, which has developed an effective strategy for improving vehicle access to the zoo, virtually eliminating queuing and waiting time. The Calgary Parking Authority responded to the zoo's increasing traffic congestion problem with an innovative solution, and the design and development of the zoo access system is described in this article.
