Control of the Physicochemical Properties of Materials

Theoretical substantiation and experimental verification of the methods of control over the processes of structure formation, strain, and fracture are presented. It is shown that the control of properties can be exercised starting from the design stage of a material with tailored characteristics and throughout the stages of manufacture and operational service.
