Recuperación de la tradición de las leyendas quiteñas desde una perspectiva cinematográfica

The following final career project , tries to confront a social problematic very recurrent in the last times. The loss of the historical collective memory of Quito legends tradition. It is for this reason that it was decided to develop a project that based on audiovisual production, propose a new approach with which we can have a new tool to remember and transmit these legends. The objective is to produce a professional quality production based on all the knowledge acquired during the Audiovisual and Multimedia Production career, in order to introduce people through a qualitative and explanatory methodology, to another perspective more fictionalized and with a tinge of suspense, about the legend. To conclude, the project has demonstrated that the author has the necessary knowledge for the realization of a short film that transmits the essence of Quitos tradition of legends, which can transmit to the minds of people the sense of belonging to the city and to value this tradition which is gradually lost more in the memory of the city. But through a new approach it can remind people of the existence, beauty and importance of legends within the culture of Quito.
