The design of the ultrasonic anemometer

The design of ultrasonic anemometer is rarely reported in China.It is presented the measurement principles of the travel time difference method of the ultrasonic anemometer in this paper.PIC18F4580 is used as high speed counter and core of system.It achieves on the travel time rang control and reliability analysis through software and the multi-threshold module.The results of ex-periment confirm that the ultrasonic anemometer achieves the design object when the wind speed is below 30m/s.
