Recent Advances on Catalytic Enantioselective Direct C-H Bond Functionalization of Electron-Deficient N-Containing Heteroarenes

2021
Catalytic enantioselective direct C-H bond functionalization of electron-deficient N-containing heteroarenes represents one of the most straightforward and powerful protocols to construct diverse enantioenriched highly functionalized N-heteroarene products. Efficient catalytic systems and diversity of strategies for high chemo- and stereoselective C-H functionalization of electron-deficient N-containing arenes have been established over the past decades. This review summarized the rapid progress of catalytic asymmetric C−H functionalization of these N-containing heteroarenes, and also discussed the challenges and potentials of the field at the current stage.
