Introduction to codes of ethics for nursing students in Iran

The substantial issue of the discussions about the professional nursing ethics is care or in other words, the ethics of care is the most considerable underpinning for nursing ethics. Meanwhile for nursing students, ethical issues around education are more important component of the codes of ethics. Like nursing schools in some of other countries, it seems that developing nursing students’ code of ethics in Iranian academic settings and educational fields is essential. So students would be evaluated based on those ethical codes of conduct. In fact such cods are guides for moral development of nursing students and their content and scope should not be limited only to academic or clinical environments and would be helpful for personal and social enhancement of the professional aspects of the nursing students’ life.
