The utility model relates to a remote iris-face integrated image acquisition and identification device comprising a display screen, an image acquisition unit, an iris camera, a vertical rotary PTZ (pant/tilt/zoom), an infrared light source, a case and a computer, wherein the display screen displays an identification result given by the computer in real time; the image acquisition unit acquires user images respectively and transmits the images to the computer; the iris camera is fixedly arranged on the rotary PTZ and acquires and transmits user iris images to the computer; controlled by the computer, the vertical rotary PTZ adjusts the angle of the iris camera so as to adapt to the change on height of users; the infrared light source provides infrared lights; the computer obtains the height of the user by calculation according to the position of the face in the user images which are respectively acquired by the image acquisition unit at the same time as well as the distance from the face to the equipment; and then the PTZ is adjusted and the iris camera aims at the eyes of the user, therefore the iris image is acquired and iris identification is conducted. The remote iris-face integrated image acquisition and identification device can self-adapt to the height of the user and acquire the iris image.
