Multijunction solar cells high efficiency

There are disclosed having at least four subcells multijunction solar cells, in which at least one of the subcells includes a base layer which is formed of an alloy of one or more elements from group III of the table of the periodic element, nitrogen, arsenic, and at least one element which is selected from the group consisting of Sb and Bi group and in which each of the subcells is adapted in the grid substantially. In addition, methods for the production of solar cells and photovoltaic systems are disclosed that include at least one of the multi-junction solar cells.
