Zinc alloy coating of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) opening-frame vaporizer

2013
The invention discloses a zinc alloy coating of an LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) opening-frame vaporizer. The coating is made of a zinc alloy material comprising the following chemical components: 5.3-35.4wt% of Al, 0-6.2wt% of Cu, 0-5.1wt% of Y and the balance of Zn. According to the invention, Zn is used as a matrix, and Al and Cu are used as main alloy elements; Zn is used as the matrix so as to play a favorable protecting role for a cathode; Al can be formed into a compact Al2O3 protective film so as to ensure that the coating has certain seawater corrosion resistance; due to the addition of Cu, the coating is higher in hardness and better in erosion corrosion resistance, and the corrosion resistance of the coating can also be improved. Due to the addition of Y, not only can the corrosion resistance of the coating be improved, but also the forming performance of the material can be improved, so that the material can be more conveniently prepared into the corrosion resistant coating.
