A Split-Modular Approach to Wave Digital Filters containing Bipolar Junction Transistors

We present a split-modular approach by means of separated forward and reverse conducting diodes described within the Ebers-Moll model for Bipolar Junction Transistors as a topological (parallel) junction in the wave digital domain. Thereby, non-computable loops that inevitably arise from multiple or multi-port nonlinearities are resolved simultaneously by means of Automatic Differentiating Wave Digital Filters.
