AVALIAÇÃO DA QUALIDADE DE VIDA DOS PACIENTES SUBMETIDOS AO TRANSPLANTE RENAL

RESUMO O objetivo do presente estudo e avaliar a qualidade de vida dos pacientes renais cronicos submetidos ao transplante renal. Trata-se de uma revisao integrativa da literatura de cunho qualitativo, atraves da busca de artigos contidos na Biblioteca Virtual em Saude. Os estudos selecionados revelaram que houve melhora significativa na qualidade de vida dos pacientes transplantados, ressaltando que o procedimento renal bem sucedido libera o paciente das restricoes da dialise, possibilitando-o uma maior independencia e retorno  de suas atividades cotidianas. Os efeitos dos imunossupressores e a preocupacao com a probabilidade de rejeicao do orgao, comum nos seis primeiros meses. Desse modo, fica evidente que o transplante renal oferece melhor qualidade de vida, se comparado com as modalidades dialiticas como a hemodialise e dialise peritoneal. Essa tematica carece de novos estudos para uma melhor disseminacao do conhecimento a respeito da qualidade de vida dos pacientes submetidos ao transplante renal. ABSTRACT The objective of the present study is to evaluate the quality of life of chronic renal patients submitted to renal transplantation. This is an integrative review of the qualitative literature, through the search of articles contained in the Virtual Health Library. Selected studies showed that there was a significant improvement in the quality of life of the transplanted patients, emphasizing that the successful renal procedure releases the Dialysis restrictions, allowing a greater independence and return of their daily activities. The effects of immunosuppressants and the concern with the probability of rejection of the organ, common in the first six months. Thus, it is evident that renal transplantation offers a better quality of life compared to dialytic modalities such as hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. This theme requires new studies to better disseminate knowledge about the quality of life of patients undergoing kidney transplantation. Key Words: Chronic renal failure. Kidney Transplant.
