Cutter of liquid crystal panel and cutting method thereof

PURPOSE: An apparatus for cutting liquid crystal panels and a method thereof are provided to minimize a time required for scribing, and remove an inverting unit and an extra braking unit, thereby improving the productivity and reducing installation cost and space. CONSTITUTION: A first scribing unit(110) forms first cut prearranged lines on surfaces of first and second motherboards on which unit liquid crystal panels are formed, by using first and second wheels. The first scribing unit gives pressure to at least one part of the first cut prearranged lines through a first roll to sequentially cut the first and second motherboards. A first rotating unit(120) rotates the cut first and second motherboards at an angle of 90 deg. A second scribing unit(130) forms second cut prearranged lines on the surfaces of the rotated first and second motherboards by using third and fourth wheels. The second scribing unit gives pressure to at least one part of the second cut prearranged lines through a second roll to sequentially cut the first and second motherboards.
