A Thin-Film Sensitive Element Based on Copper-Doped As20Se80 Glasses for a Precision Temperature Sensor

2003
A sensitive resistive element based on copper-doped As20Se80 glasses for use in a temperature sensor is described. The sensitive element operates in a temperature range from –70 to +70°C. Its electrical resistance is ∼ 100 kΩ and linearly depends on the temperature. The sensitivity of the element is 1 kΩ/°C; the accuracy of temperature measurements is 0.01°C.
