FUNDAMENTOS TEÓRICOS QUE SUSTENTAN LA FORMACIÓN DE COMPETENCIAS PROFESIONALES PARA LOS DIRIGENTES DEL SISTEMA DEPORTIVO

The formation of skills in sports leaders today must be addressed in accordance with the requirements that the medium needs or requires. The modern world and the sport as one of its most popular manifestations and social roots, requires a process that brings together sports managers with a set of knowledge, skills, values and modes of action in social contexts, enabling them to lead organizations and institutions at different levels of management in line with the latest advances in science and technology and especially in updating the own technical and methodological resources of physical activity, legislation and inherent in their work psychosocial aspects. This paper addresses a problem in the context of the management of sports leaders in the province of Manabi in Ecuador, confirming a group of shortcomings that limit the direction of the main leaders at the cantonal level, which requires addressing the main theoretical assumptions that underpin their performance and lead to the development of a proposal that solves the stated deficiencies, which allowed declare the following research question: What are the theoretical rationale supporting skills training of sports leaders in the province Manabi in Ecuador?.
