Electronic prescribing systems supported by medical decision making schedules is a useful tool in order to avoid these mistakes. This article describe the methodological and practical aspects related to the development of a knowledge base. This base delibers information to an electronic prescription system in a context of an electronic medical record, and consequentely it helps physicians to prescribe drugs safetly.
