Clinical significance of plasma VEGF and TF concentration in acute leukemia.

2010
Objective:To investigate the relationship between the concentration of plasma VEGF,TF and clinical condition in acute leukemia. Methods:The concentration of plasma VEGF and TF in 31 de novo,14 complete remitted(CR),7 unremitted,18 relapsed patients with AL were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and compared with those of normal controls. Results:The concentration of plasma VEGF and TF in the acute leukemia group, unremitted group and relapsed group was significantly higher than those in control and remission group(P0.01).There was no significant difference between the remission group and control group(P0.05).There was linear correlation between the plasma TF and VEGF concentration(r=0.675,P0.01).Conclusion:The con-centration of plasma VEGF and TF is significantly associated with clinical condition, which can be the indicators for learning clinical fea-tures and predicting prognosis of acute leukemia patients.
