PLANEJAMENTO ESTRATÉGICO: UMA ABORDAGEM SISTÊMICA STRATEGIC PLANNING: A SYSTEMIC APPROACH

In the face of rapid changes happening in today's world, organizations are seeking models and tools that assist in the rapid adaptation to the environment in which they are embedded. Among these tools is the strategic planning that is often developed on an ad hoc and fragmented. As the General System Theory provides a conceptual framework of high significance for the theory of organization and administration, serving as a way to analyze and to synthesize a complex environment, and still carries the notion of systemic thinking it can assist in the compression of certain processes, such as Strategic Planning. In this sense, this study aims to analyze the whole development of strategic planning tool through a systemic approach, based on some concepts from General Systems Theory (GST). For this, we developed a system that illustrates the operation of Strategic Planning. It was felt that the Strategic Planning for getting results for the company, it should be developed through systems thinking, be closely related and consistent with all other systemic and subsystems of the organization.
