FAST ADAPTIVE CONTROL ALGORITHMS IN pH MEASUREMENT

A fast adaptive control of pH measurements in acidic wastewater is implemented. It is based upon the use of numerical methods to accelerate the convergence in parameter-adaptive control algorithms. The one-parameter case is exhaustively investigated. In such a case the limit value of the updated parameter is unique (roughly being equivalent to an identification scheme) so that the hypothesis from Numerical Analysis to change the basic error sequence by an accelerated error sequence (by changing the adaptive law) remain standarized.
