Osteochondritis Dissecans of the Humeral Head in a Young Moto-Cross Rider

1996
A very rare case of osteochondritis dissecans of the humeral head observed in a young moto-cross rider and most probably of traumatic origin is described. Diagnosis was based on scintigraphy CT and MRI owing to the genetic nature of the clinical picture, and confirmed during arthroscopic removal of the osteocartilaginous fragment and revivification of the subchondral bone.
