The invention relates to a maintenance-free infrared detector. The detector comprises a detector body, the detector body comprises a housing, an infrared sensor arranged in the housing and an infrared lens arranged on the housing. The detector further comprises a rechargeable battery arranged in the housing for supplying power to the detector; a solar panel arranged on the housing for converting solar energy into electric energy so as to supply power to the detector; a USB charge interface arranged on the housing for supplying power to the detector through a USB charge line; and a wireless energy collection converter arranged in the housing for collecting wireless energy in space and converting the wireless energy into the electric energy so as to supply power to the detector. The maintenance-free infrared detector employing such a structure can ensure that the infrared detector can realize maintenance-free automatic power supply without maintenance within time of service life, and is simple and structure and wide in application scope.
