This article discusses the case study of an adolescent assisted by the mental health care in the city of Belo Horizonte / MG, Brazil. The aim is to analyze the trajectory of this young girl through the network as an example of the several challenges that complex cases represent to an effective deployment of the psychosocial care network. The case was chosen as paradigmatic in terms of the difficulty of approach, since in the course of her treatment, this young girl goes through multiple devices and services, both from the specialized mental health care network and from the broad network of promotion, protection, and defense of children and adolescents’ rights, always requiring the most complex services of the assistance, with no solution.
