MIOCARDIOPATÍA HIPERTRÓFICA ASOCIADAD A EMBARAZO

2004
SUMMARY Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a scarce condition. Syncope, auricular or ventricular arrhythmias and cardiac failure should be a clinical presentation. A pregnant patient with this disease is presented. Experiences published suggest that most of the patients remain stable, although complications should be presented, including maternal death. A vaginal delivery is preferred. Obstetric and cardiologic management is discussed.
