Comparison of TIDI Wind Observations and the HWM07 Model

•The Horizontal Wind Model 07 (HWM07) is a newempirical atmospheric wind model [see poster 1540].A variety of ground and space-based data sourceswere included, but notably not data from the TIMEDDoppler Interferometer (TIDI). TIDI has measuredmesosphere, lower thermosphere winds since early2002. This poster presents a comparison of the windsmeasured by TIDI and modeled by HWM07.
