Economical detectors based on safe liquid scintillators

Abstract Results are presented on several new highly efficient, fast, safe, and “environmentally friendly” liquid scintillator. Liquid scintillators can be contained in tubes or FEP Teflon-lined containers serving, at the same time, as light guides. The immediate application areas are in scintillation hodoscopes and TOF counters whenever complicated counter shapes (bends, corners, etc.) are required.
