The Inhibition Efficiency of Extracts from Tussilago farfara to Nitrosation

To explore the cleaning capacity of extracts from T.farfara to sodium nitrite and the blocking capability to nitrosamine synthesis,as well as to provide theoretical basis for its deep development and application in the field of fighting cancer,the inhibition efficiency to nitrosation by extracts from T.farfara was studied in conditions of the simulated gastric fluid.The results showed that the clearance rate of water extracts and cellulose enzyme extracts of 15 mg T.farfara were 45.51% and 55.69%,respectively,while the blocking rate to nitrosamine synthesis were 47.31% and 58.39%,respectively.Rates of scavenging sodium nitrite and the blocking rate to synthesis of nitrosamines were positively correlated to extracts concentration.Based on the results of the comparison with VC,it revealed that extracts of T.farfara had relatively strong capacity to scavenge sodium nitrite and blocking nitrosamine synthesis.
