2018
Organizational development is conceived as growth and creation of value in companies, growth can be seen from several angles: company size, improvement of productive capacity, greater capacity of workers and adaptation of safe work environments. For its part, creating value in companies goes beyond the financial concept, refers to generate value administratively, this implies, human talent, management models, the work environment and organizational structure. From this perspective, the book contributes to the concept of business development by addressing key factors so that such development can be generated, such as organizational culture, innovation management and corporate responsibility, considered of great importance at this time given the demands of the environment and the characteristics of the markets where they are operated.Said in this way, to speak of organizational culture, but of agents external to the organizations, shows the cultural characteristics of territory that could affect it. Likewise, treating the management of innovation as an element that would help an economic sector to grow, denotes the preponderance of companies in modern society. Similarly, social responsibility reflects the commitment of companies that have managed to grow with corporate principles, to contribute to the respect of a locality from the view of the environment and standards.Given this way, the book that the authors present to the academic community constitutes a significant contribution for future research and constitutes an instrument to understand how organizational development favors the development of the surrounding localities.
