2-acylamino-5-thiazol derivative, its preparation and composition

1992
PURPOSE: To obtain a 2-acylamino-5-thiazole derivative substd. with a hetero-ring affecting cholecystokinin and gastrin receptors which is useful as medicament for chronic pancreatitis and gastric ulcer. CONSTITUTION: This compd. is a deriv. of formula I [wherein R 1 is H or a phenylalkylene having a 1-4C alkyl, etc.; RIV is a 3-7c cycloalkyl (substd. with one or more 1-4C alkyl) or phenyl having an arom. substituent, etc.; RV is a group of the formula (CH 2 )m-X (in which (m) is 0-5; X is phenyl optionally substd. with halogen, OH or 3-7C cycloalkyl, etc., or -COOH, etc.), or 1-5C alkoxy and others; Z is a hetero-ring contg. O, S or N, etc.], and a salt thereof with an inorg. or org. acid or base such as 2-[(2-indolyl)-carbonylamino]-4-(2,4- dimethoxyphenyl)-5-benzylthiazol. The compd. of the formula I is obtained by allowing a compd. of the formula II to couple with a compd. of the formula Z'COOH (wherein Z' is substituent Z having protected functional groups Z, Z) under an acylating condition.
