This original article presents data on methods of predicting spontaneous preterm delivery at patients of up to 35-week pregnancy with symptoms of fetus wastage danger. Most significant diagnostic criteria were width and length of cervical canal detected by means of vaginal ultrasonic scanning. The efficiency criteria of 200 mg progesterone daily application are also described.
