Genes coding for flavone synthases

E.g. obtained from torenia or snapdragon encoding flavanone can be directly converted to a DNA Flavonoids and their use; the DNA and amino acid sequence encoding the enzyme is shown in, for example, SEQ ID NO: 1 & 2 & 3 and 4. The gene may be introduced into a plant such as a change of flower color.
