Herbivoria e teor de clorofila em plantas de feijoeiro tratadas com Arsenicum album e Silicea terra

2020
Homeopathy interferes in plant physiology, activating defense and resistance mechanisms. The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of homeopathic preparations Arsenicum album and Silicea terra on herbivory and chlorophyll content in common bean crop. The design was the one of randomized blocks, with four replications. The treatments were Arsenicum album 6CH, Silicea terra 6CH and control (water), sprayed to the field in concentration of 1% every eight days. The incidence of damage was evaluated through the defoliation, the leaf area consumed and the chlorophyll content in the leaves. The analyzes did not show differences in the incidence of damage, however, the application of Arsencum album 6CH induced an increase in leaf area and reduced defoliation when compared to Silicea terra 6CH and the control. There was no significant difference in chlorophyll content. The results indicate the potential of homeopathic preparations to activate the defenses and balance the vital force of the bean.
