The Archaeological Record in the Chonos Archipelago (43°30′–47° SOUTH)—Western Patagonia

This chapter describes all the archaeological sites discovered and registered in this study in the different areas of coastal prospecting representative of the Chonos Archipelago: Northern area, Mainland coast, Central, South-central, and Off-shore islands and Pacific Border. We describe the main characteristics of each site, position, geographic location, work carried out, chronology and material, ecofactual and bio-anthropological characterisation, in addition to briefly inferring its role based on the information collected both in the field and in laboratory analyses.
